Most common fix is to edit the registry. We can do this if you want, but if you feel comfortable the steps are pretty straightforward
1. Hit Windows key and R key at same time to open RUN dialog box
2. Enter REGEDIT and press ENTER
3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System
4. Right click the right window pane the select DWORD (32-bit) Value
5. For the new value name enter CopyFileBufferedSynchronousIo I would copy and paste this
6. For the Value Data enter 1
7. Click OK
8. Close Registry and restart PC
This should work. If not, there may be a hard drive issue which we would run a chkdsk c: /f /r where C: is the drive we are copying from
