- Open Device Manager,
- Highlight 'Intel High Definition DSP',
- Click 'View' tab,
- Click 'Devices by connection',
- Right-click 'Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel (R)) SST Audio Controller',
- Click 'Properties',
- Click 'Driver' tab,
- Click 'Roll Back Driver' button,
- Click 'Previous version of the driver seemed more reliable' radio button,
- Click 'Yes' button,
- Click 'Close' button, and
- Monitor 'Sound, video and game controllers' devices in Device Manager for any changes.
